Bible Study Empty YOUR SUITCASE
We are taking a trip to the isle of Patmos. This is where John recorded the book of Revelation. Of course this trip takes place in our mind. This is good because according to my research just the cruise to the Island would cost us 1047.00. Of course we would not learn near as much. This trip is free. We must make plans for our trip. I hope you have a suitcase but not to many. Of course this is symbolism and your mind is your suitcase. Open up your suitcase, what is in there?
Oh my goodness, empty your suitcase. As the suitcases are emptied some of us don’t like the contents. Ever heard the term GIGO? It is computer terminology for a term for garbage in garbage out.
In order to have a productive trip discard the following items:
1. Preconceived Ideas
2. The thought that Revelation is hard to understand
3. Fear
4. Unforgiveness
5. Receiving Gods word only through others and not directly from God to you
6. Anger over past hurts
7. A lack of trust
8. Rejection
9. Anger
10. Irritation
